Rusty Murphy is a former multi-sport athlete in high school and a DIII Football standout at linebacker at UW-La Crosse. Rusty’s career was impacted due to COVID-19 but Rusty took advantage of that time and created the non-profit, Rising Athletes. In this episode, Rusty talks about what Rising Athletes is, how the idea came to be and how it is hoping to impact underprivileged athletes across the state of Wisconsin. What they have been able to do in such a short time and the impact they are having on student-athletes across the state is amazing.
