César Soto Valero is a software technology researcher and practitioner with over 15 years of experience. After completing his studies in Cuba, he got interested in sports analytics and pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science focused on the development of machine learning algorithms and software tools for analyzing sports data. His passion for software led him to pursue a PhD in Computer Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm. During his doctoral studies, César contributed to the area of software debloating, where he developed novel tools and techniques to secure the software supply chain through the removal of unnecessary code. Currently, César works as a Data Engineer at SEB, a leading financial institution, where he actively contributes to the implementation of software solutions aimed at preventing financial crimes. With a diverse background encompassing research, machine learning, and software engineering, César is committed to pushing the boundaries of software technology and applying innovative solutions to real-world systems.
