He arrived in Coronation Street in 1983 as the show finally created a home on the cobbles for Vera and her husband Jack. Terry joined them at No.9 and Nigel Pivaro quickly made the character his own. Within a short time, Terry was causing trouble and Nigel was becoming a household face overnight with Corrie regularly watched by half the country. Ashley chats to Nigel about his time on the Street, working with Bill Tarmey and Liz Dawn, helping to create a rather complex character and life on and off screen.
