Innovations happening locally include Calviri testing a canine cancer vaccine that could eventually help humans, and new blood tests that can screen for multiple cancer types early. The Arizona Bioindustry Association has set a goal to double the economic impact to $78 billion by 2033 through strategies around improving workforce training, assisting entrepreneurs, and providing investment funding.
