As the backbone of the healthcare system, nurses face increasingly complex patient care, shorter lengths of stay, higher acuity levels and the almost constant evolution of technology. At Ohio State, the Clinical Ladder program recognizes and rewards staff nurses for their clinical expertise in delivering direct care to patients.
