"If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place." Many of you know now that I want to focus on other topics than Body Positivity, I believe that our Body Image is secondary to what’s really going on in life, and therefore when times are tough or an emotion unexpected, we often go back to old coping mechanisms which are, I feel fat etc, maybe I should diet etc.. maybe I should do more exercise because whilst we are thinking and feeling these things we are not feeling emotions. Emotions like, pain, grief, worry, fear.. Today I speak to Alison Hollingworth from Feel the fear and do it anyway. Which is a book written by Susan Jeffers. Susan is no longer with us but there are many still supporting her work and running their own workshops which promote the messages within the book. Alison is one of those practitioners and today we find out why we have fear, what we can do about it and some tools for getting out of our comfort zone.
