Bio:

Kristofer Rios Kristofer Ríos is a filmmaker and journalist from New York City. As a journalist, he has covered immigration and social justice issues, producing investigative news documentaries for HBO Max, Hulu, ABC News, Univision/Fusion, The Guardian, and The New York Times. Most recently, Kristofer was the co-director and co-executive producer of Menudo: Forever Young, a four-part documentary series about the rise and fall of the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. He is also a producer on the upcoming National Geographic docuseries Science Fair: The Series. Kristofer was previously at ABC News Nightline where he worked on features and documentaries for the nightly news show. Kristofer's work has been recognized by the GLADD Media Awards, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, and the Edward R. Murrow Awards. He was a 2023 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University and has a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
