The first week of Northwestern's two-week gauntlet wrapped up on Saturday with a home game against Minnesota. The Wildcats were decently heavy favorites in this one, and they show exactly why right off the bat. Northwestern built a huge first half lead thanks to hot shooting and protecting the basketball. In the second half, maybe some of the fatigue of the week set in, but Northwestern's hot start allowed the Wildcats to cruise to their third straight win of the week.
