The ACCC is taking legal action against Optus claiming it sold products and services to hundreds of vulnerable consumers. Optus has since released a statement apologising to customers affected by this misconduct and for the distress caused.
They've also said that they've undertaken a major review of how they manage sales, especially to vulnerable customers. But who are the people affected and what are the impacts?
