Often when a home is haunted, the occupants assume it’s a loved one returning to say hi. What do you do when its NOT a family spirit, and not a friendly one either?

“My ex-husband and I were living in my childhood home. I lived in the same house from the time I was two years old. I never had an issue in the house before he moved out. Like pretty much any story, there was an escalation of events that occurred. It started off small and then got out of control very quickly. At the time, my daughter was only one year old; I was getting ready for bed. It was late at night, probably around 1 am when I started hearing whispers on the baby monitor. It sounded like someone was trying to speak to my daughter. She and I were the only ones in the house at the time. I wrote it off as a deceased relative, probably saying hello to her or something like that. This continued other nights, one of which my daughter woke up and simply just said "no."”
