James Lawrence is an ultra-endurance athlete, world record holder, fitness trainer, and keynote speaker.
In 2011, James accidentally set a world record by completing 20 half-Ironman distances in 22 weeks. The following year, he set another record by finishing 30 full-Ironman distances. Wanting to up the ante, in 2015 James gained media attention by completing 50 Ironman triathlon distances in 50 consecutive days in each of the 50 United States. In 2021, James completed the Conquer 100, which consisted of completing one full-distance triathlon every day for 100 consecutive days.
Known as ‘Iron Cowboy,” James works as a fitness trainer and keynote speaker. He offers training plans for runners and triathlon athletes. In addition, James has experience speaking to corporations and government agencies such as Google, Nike, Redbull, and the U.S. Navy. His podcast, The Grit Show, is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
