Joshua 3:14-17 - The Power of the Crossing-In Joshua 3:1-13, everything has been preparatory, building in suspense to vv14-17. After the Preparation of the Crossing (vv1-6) and the Purpose of the Crossing (vv7-13), we are ready for the Power of the Crossing (vv14-17).-The sermon's aim is to see that the Lord Jesus Christ, by virtue of His unique and blessed Person, powerfully made a way through the uncross-able condemnation of sin that was upon us so that His people may enter into the blessed and eternal rest of God.-I.
