Join the Sanyu Sisters as they chat with Dame Professor Tina Lavender. Tina is Professor of Maternal and Newborn health and director of a World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre. Tina's career has focused on building the research capacity of midwives and developing the Lugina Africa Midwives Research Network(LAMRN) to improve evidence-based practices, with a focus on still birth and respectful care. Some of her other accolades include Visiting Professor at the University of Nairobi, Director of the NIHR Global Health Research Group on the Prevention and Management of Stillbirth, working in Sub-Saharan Africa. She is also the Associate Editor of the African Journal of Midwifery and Womenโs Health.
