G2211 Add-On Code and the Patient–Physician Relationship

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) created the new G2211 add-on code to address the time, intensity, and expense involved in conducting patient visits for the management of those with chronic and complex conditions. Use of this new add-on code can help ophthalmologists build strong long-term relationships with patients to benefit their longitudinal care. Drs.
