Braydon Bringhurst has been passionate about bike riding since his childhood, and now as a husband, father, and mountain bike rider, he finds great joy in sharing his love for two wheels with other people. As co-founder of the Boise Mountain Bike
Festival, he aims to break down walls between cycling groups and celebrate the common joy of riding bikes. In his most recent project, and biggest one to date, a film called ‘8600FT,’ Braydon attempts to climb the infamous “Whole Enchilada” trail. He hopes this film will show some of the processes of overcoming challenges in our lives.
In this episode, Braydon and DZ talk about Braydon’s background in pole vaulting, his introduction to filmmaking, the motivation that a great film can create for the audience, and much more!
