Mr. Walter is the former Vice-president of BC Hydro responsible for the delivery of the Capital Program including Portfolio, Program, Project, Contract and Construction Management of multi-billion $ capital projects. Walter had been the BC Hydro for over 40 years, and Walter's group was awarded the prestigious global PMO of the year award for 2016.

Walter is currently the Advisor and Principal at GW Udell Consulting, a company started by him post his retirement, to offer consulting services in the field of Project, Program and Portfolio Management.
