Ismail spent just over 13 years in prison, but dedicated himself to helping others when he was released over two years ago. Amar and Ismail talk about his conversion to Islam in the early ’90s, his work with the Religious Freedom Institute, the importance of Religious Freedom and its history in the United States, and the unique positions of Muslims and Christians in Institutional Pluralism. They also talk about the purpose of truth in our society and how Christians and Muslims can work together.
