Eckhart Tolle posted the following quote recently:
“There’s a huge amount of suffering that is generated not by the actual challenges of life but by the fictitious problems that the mind creates.”
In light of what’s happening in Western North Carolina with armed militias making direct threats towards FEMA employees aiding in relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene, this quote has never been more pertinent.
It gets to the root of why someone might act out in such extreme behavior and is a sobering reminder why we all need to do the hard work or taking responsibility for and over our own patterns of thinking.
An insidious mental virus has been planted in many people’s heads and that virus has taken hold.
