Geomagic Freeform Plus, Autodesk Meshmixer, and Autodesk Fusion 360 are my go to for modification of most prosthetic devices and I consistently use multiple slicers including Simplify3D, Cura, Ideamaker, and KISSlicer.

Scanning:

Digiscan 3D is my favorite App that allows you to use the Structure Sensor and iPad for shape capture. This app provides revenue for LifeNabled.
