How many of us feel unappreciated on the day we are supposed to be celebrated?
We shed tears and feel unnoticed because they didn't put forth the effort we imagined. We just want to be recognized for all we have done over the years. On the one day, set aside for it! Is that too much to ask?
When we need our loved ones to do certain things so we can feel appreciated and loved and have a happy day, we set ourselves up for disappointment. Our imaginations do such a great job; why can't they?
Don't do what I did, it didn't go well.
We can't love big when we feel let down and hurt.
