Today I was very moved to offer a real and raw account of life in profound grief.
To lose a life partner is a million times over challenging.
But to lose a life partner suddenly adds many layers of challenge to what is already an overwhelming and challenging situation.
The shock of the event and immediate ramifications for not only your life, but perhaps children as well can be extremely overwhelming.
It can push many over the edge of comprehension.
Judgement, criticism from outside sources who might mean well, but have no understanding what it is like to live with the profound pain of loss day after day.
Today I offer words and guidance for those who find themselves in this space...the chill space of grief after sudden loss of a life partner.
