His clinical interests are in respiratory infections, community-acquired and viral pneumonia, and ICU-acquired infections. Dr. Sandrock is also interested in emerging infectious diseases at the animal and human interface, particularly respiratory infections such as avian influenza, SARS, and other diseases acquired by humans.
