Clear communication is key to ensuring that your boundaries are respected and understood. Additionally, we will discuss the importance of consistency and consequences in maintaining these boundaries, as they serve as powerful tools for reinforcement. By the end of this episode, you will have a comprehensive understanding of how to create boundaries, effectively communicate them, and reinforce them in a way that fosters healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

  2. Blind obedience: compliance with social norms can erode our boundaries
  3. Boundaries: the act of defining and communicating what you are willing to accept
  4. Self knowledge: what are your needs and non-negotiables
  5. Values: get clear on your values as they guide what you are and aren't willing to tolerate
  6. Belief systems: understanding how your beliefs affect your boundary setting
