My name is Bri Tartaglione - I'm a Motivational Speaker, Certified School Counselor, Emotional Wellness Coach, fellow podcaster, & owner of my mental wealth services business, Bria Dorothia LLC.
On March 17th, 2020, as the world was shutting down around us all, so too was my body. A very rare medical condition, which I was unaware I had, caused my immune system to attack the healthy cells in my brain and spine, rendering me paralyzed from the waist down and neck up. For two weeks, I sat in extreme isolation with a lifeless body but an active mind.
On the day I turned 29, I gave myself what I now consider the most precious birthday gift I will ever receive, and took my first steps again.
