In this episode of the podcast, I delve into the significance of "The Lone Sailor" and share personal reflections on my military journey, struggles with mental health, and the challenges of reintegration into civilian life.
As y'all know, I've always been intrigued by the unique characters within the nuclear community. Despite some discouragement due to the toxicity of Nukes and their unavailability, I am still passionate about sharing their strangeness and struggles with the world. We're diving into some serious topics today, but as always, we're going to have a good time.
Life and dating advice has kind of taken over the show, with Monday's being my serious content, and Friday's Davy Jones Locker Series being the satirical fun. Regardless, as the show evolves along with my journey with God, I'm making some changes, dialing back on the crude humor, and focusing more on meaningful conversations. It's a work in progress, but I'm excited about the direction we're headed in.
Today's episode uses "The Lone Sailor" as y'all guessed from the series name. No, I'm not the Lone Sailor, but yes I also am. He is representative of some powerful emotions and lives, and we get into that. Again, I share a bit of my origin story, hinting at some of the hardships and triumphs that have led me to where I am today. With that, we get into some conversation on suicide, isolation, military life, and the way relationships change differently for military members after they move away from home.
