'Rearview Mirror Mentality' is a phrase I used with patients and is not a clinical diagnosis! When you look back you take a mental snapshot of your life and it has residue of positive or traumatic energy. This type of energy needs to be released and the 'romanticized' versions of 'holidays' like St. Valentine's Day trap people and force actions that are anything but unconditionally loving. Pay attention and go 'within' because by letting go you can look forward to a beautiful and higher vibrational way of living. If you do the work to save yourself, you won't need others to save you and you can learn that it is not for you to sacrifice yourself to SAVE anyone but YOU! Again, I'm pushing the boundaries and this would never be taught in traditional licensed institutions because it takes the power away from the system and gives it back to you.
