“Never Judge a Book by its Cover” - anonymous The Dudes of Disruption podcast was inspired by the movie “Wonder” which I watched over the holidays. I was both moved and reminded of the importance of how we need to be aware of our judgements and assumptions of others both personally and professionally. Our judgements and assumptions are influencing how we interact with others – and those interactions are producing the choices and actions we take which ultimately produces the results we are generating in our lives. The show explores the importance of understanding that your first impression is just a first impression – be willing to be wrong about that first impression. Recognize that a first impression is an automatic based on a series of things that have brought you to this place and that you don’t have to be right about them.
