Descriptions of Zoe's personality have identified her to be highly competitive, outgoing, aggressive, and focused on outcomes. In terms of theories, this translates to Zoe being extroverted and being open to experiences in her taking up new assignments where there were few women. Before that she appeared to have a strong sense of internal locus of control, which is shown by her taking up challenging jobs in the firm. This is in line with the general experiences that individuals with that characteristic type typically rise to higher ranks of management. She also seemed to have high sense of self-efficacy, as shown in her independent handling of the mortgage decisions.
