In 1975 she co-founded The Gardens Guild of Braintree, member and past president of The Braintree Women's Club since 1961, 4th and 5th grade teacher for 28 years, recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Peacemaker Award, Board Member of the Dept of Elders Affairs and devout volunteer at Saint Clare's Church.
