Taylor Swift's been all over the news and trending on social media recently. My “Swifty” sister Chime and I watched the Netflix Documentary “Miss Americana” and uncovered boundary lessons from the film and life of the amazing Taylor Swift. Her life and career began with the moral code and belief system of wanting to be considered “good”. We discuss Taylor Swift’s journey from desperately seeking the approval of others, being on top of her career, receiving public scrutiny, taking space to reinvent herself, and emerging as her empowered authentic self.
When it comes to boundaries, Taylor experienced some progress and some bumps along the road, until her boundaries were really tested and she had to make a difficult and tearful decision. Ultimately, Taylor Swift transforms into her true self and owns who she is. Taylor is relatable, connected to her fans, and just plain killing it! Maybe there is some truth to the idea that Taylor is putting Travis Kelce on the map ;)
