Seasonal and Holiday Depression (Letting Go of Perfection)

This year I have given myself the gift of imperfection. It still causes me some anxiety but I realized focusing on what is not perfect, I’m missing all the moments of perfection.
The holidays are not always a joyous time for children or adults and watching others always wearing a happy face can make it tougher. The depression people feel is absoluety real and should be validated.
With Christmas quickly approaching, my goal is to change my mindset. I’m trying to live in the moment and focus on the positive. (Especially as someone with ADHD and depression, this can be exceptionally challenging. )
