When Lyn was just 25 years old, after going in for elective surgery, she was told that she had leukemia. For 3 years, she was puzzled as she was being told by her doctors that the medications were working while her daily lived experience was that her health was declining. It was being ignored and dismissed by her doctors that started Lyn on a journey to find other alternative approaches to help herself. The process wasn't an easy one and began to teach Lyn just how strong and resourceful she really is.
As her health began to improve somewhat but not totally over 3 years, Lyn finally was able to get a referral to a new doctor and discovered that she had been misdiagnosed! Lyn's experience taught her a great deal about resilience, being persistent in the healing process, and trusting herself and her body.
For the past 13 years, Lyn has been working with women with chronic health symptoms who want more energy so they have peace of mind, live a meaningful life, and be independent. She is a certified hypnotist and energy healer and has a master's degree in somatic psychology.
