Jamie Langlands is an award winning garden designer that I've been lucky to work with on a few occasions. I'm always blown away by his passion and focus on sustainability, the future generations and of course creatively with fantastic designs and ideas.
I've wanted him to come onto the Sip & Sow podcast for a long time, so I was so pleased to finally get him in the chair at Shrewsbury Flower Show back in August. In this episode Jamie talks about his journey from fine artist to garden designer and how his friends initially thought he was mad. We talk about the perceptions of horticulture and how that's shifting as the world focuses more on sustainability and the impact we have on the earth, and how we can encourage even more young people to pick up the trowel and take action.
