It isn’t wrong to say that we live in a generation with a tremendous sense of self-importance. If you point this out as a problem, the critics will accuse you of not seeing the need for self-esteem. But even self-esteem has become a euphemism for self-absorption. In this episode, I am joined by a good friend, Elim Ou. We talk about finding freedom from caring about what other people say, from outside validation and judgment. We don’t need to stand out, and people please just to hear a couple of compliments. It’s high time to normalize being imperfect and doing things you want for yourself and not for anyone else.
