Everybody wants to be stronger, faster, more powerful, and flat out look like an athlete. But I think people are going about it completely wrong. Most of them just find cool, "functional"-looking exercises on social media and throw it in their programs wherever. And that can help a bit, better than not doing them at all, but structuring your workouts incorrectly can neglect other areas you're also trying to improve. It can actually be detrimental if you add in dangerous faux-functional exercises like Bosu ball squats or way-too-high box jumps.
