Reason you can’t escape your pain

Last week, I talked about how your feelings create a pain and tell you what you need to do to remove them. But doing what it says doesn’t always make the pain go away, and I today I’m gonna share what you can do to make it go away. First and foremost, try not to fight the feeling or pain. I say “try” because you’re really not the one fighting it. When an unpleasant feeling comes up, it also comes with this automatic response to remove or get rid of it, which actually makes it hard to get rid off. So it helps to not resist the feeling or pain. 2. Sit in the feeling. Feelings aren’t there to make your life difficult, but to warn and guide you, all your feelings ever want is to be heard; and taking moment to sit with the feeling and listening to it can be the very thing that removes it. It’s hard to imagine, but siting with feelings can sometimes heal long standing issues. 3. Neutralize the effects with self-talk. If you’re feeling insecure, repeat I’m strong and confident, if you’re shy say I’m comfortable and secure. If you feel hesitant, say I got this.
