Therapeutic intuition is an important clinical skill. The ability to perceive and understand the subtle, non-verbal cues our clients give us helps us make informed and empathetic decisions in the assessment, treatment, and care of our patients. We develop this intuition through our work as clinicians, but that isn’t the full story.
