Dr. Steve Steinhubl is Director of Medicine at The Scripps Translational Science Institute in San Diego California. He originally trained as an Interventional Cardiologist at The Cleveland Clinic where he ran several large scale multinational randomized controlled trials. Following this his experience in healthcare can only be described as a truly global one, having worked in Alaska, Switzerland, Sierra Leone and now California. On this episode we discuss the challenges of building out the future of Digital Medicine, how anyone with an interests in the area can get involved and how his wife was so key to his success over the years.
