On today's show I am pleased to have the amazing and very talented guest Mayyar Aswad. Mayyar is a local artist in Kuwait who has gone from strength to strength on his difficult but rewarding journey of finding himself as an artist. Mayyar has submerged himself into discovering and culminating his artistic flair and ambience of his unique artistic viewpoint and creativity and boldly shared it with the world.
We both discussed the modern day challenges of our personal lives and how it has moulded us to become more assertive and find ourselves again as we strip back the layers that society, our family and community have placed upon us. We talk in some depth about mental health; the challenges young males and in particular young budding artists face as we finally tell the world that this is 'us'. This is our 'art'!
We are the artist of our dreams....we are the captain of our own ships as we steer our inclusive art and minds in a particular direction to pursue our dreams and make them a reality.
We discuss the huge challenges that we both faced as artists and how Mayyar has used that dark place of challenging life circumstances to come out and blossom as an amazing artist that has not only helped himself; but also others around him.
Mayyar and I discuss the impact of life lessons as well as our spiritual and life lessons that we have faced when trying to discover our true path in life.
