Stress has been in the news lately. Elite athletes, Naomi Osaka and Simone Biles, both recently stunned the world when they said that they were not able to perform as they normally do because of stress.
Naomi decided to step away from any press interviews at a major tennis event and ended up getting disqualified. Simone experienced the body betrayal of "twisties" and had to pull out of Olympic events where she had been the gold medal favorite.
Stress is real. And it affects everyone - even elite athletes.
